Let’s be clear: We don’t work for free. But we pride ourselves on being affordable for small businesses and entrepreneurs.
We offer project-based pricing so you get the most bang for your buck. Clear deliverables, set timelines, 50% paid up front and the rest paid when the project closes. We retain copyright to all assets until final payment is received.
We offer monthly retainers where you buy a bulk amount of hours per month, and are charged for them in advance. This works great for clients who need 5, 10, or 15 hours of support a month for various things. Retainer client work gets priority, and we work hard to not have this time be eaten up by meetings that could have been emails. Retainer hours do not rollover month-to-month, and we are proactive about making sure you use your time.
We’re small by design, meaning our rates are competitive because you’re not paying for a lot of overhead and tech buried in bigger agency costs.
Since we’re small by design, we also set limits on how many clients we support at any given time.

Tracy is your day-to-day contact. Kevin works behind the scenes. At T&K, we do all the work ourselves. We do not use AI assistants for client work. If we make referrals to supporting services like graphic designers, etc., we connect you directly with them to work together.

We work with companies of all sizes. Our sweet spot, where we can make the most impact quickly, is often with small businesses who have either a limited or no marketing team. Business owners wear many hats, and oftentimes will tap someone internally to lead marketing because they have a passion for it. We love working with companies at this stage to help refine and prioritize what will really move the business forward.

We set success metrics with clients before any project is started. We’re also clear about what success will and won’t look like. If we see a misalignment in what you’re expecting and what we can accomplish, we’ll talk about it up front and make suggestions for you on others who might be a better fit for you.

That depends on the client. Some clients send us ‘a starting point from their AI research’ and ask us to humanize it, or expand on it. Other clients have strict ‘No AI Ever’ internal policies with legal repercussions.
If you need us to work within your AI systems, personas, data models, etc., that’s no problem.
If you need us to not ever use AI on your project, that’s also not a problem.
We view AI as another tool in a marketing toolbox. Our preference is not to use AI to write copy or draft assets. We’re trained storytellers and we’re pretty good at words.
